Cannabis Control Commission
Please everyone write to your state representatives to abolish the Cannabis Control Commission. Hundreds of thousands of tax payer dollars are being spent on those three commissioners and the administrator and no progress has been made in the industry.
The first commissioner utilized the commission as a stepping stone for an attorney General run…likely planning her run while she was sitting as the chair.
On top of the commission salaries we have the administrator, who is currently the only full time CCC staff and is supposed to be the liaison between the commission and the cannabis office, which services the licensees. She has made no effort to visit and talk with the industry and is now the person making all decisions about our future. Can a cultivator or retailer express what Michelle Reddish has done to move the RI cannabis industry forward?
