I often take time to myself during lunch to eat alone and or go to the car to be alone and get away from all the noise and calm my nervous system. Do other people feel the need to do this to recharge yourself for patient care?
The SNF company I work for is pushing for us to see more and more part B patients. These patients very rarely if ever improve. A lot of them don’t even know they are getting therapy. Has anyone ever able to see this sort of patient population and been able to find any sort of job satisfaction? They also want 5x/wk and 53 minutes of treatment.
A patient with sacral pressure wounds was given a w/c with a Roho cushion which was set to atmospheric pressure. The cushion has not provided the patient pain relief. I always thought Roho cushions were supposed to be the gold standard for wound care?
