I yelled/shouted at my 8 week old Sammy. I just got him 3 days back. I yelled ‘Leave it’ and the micro training session that followed was also rough.
He has learned Sit, go potty and fetch as of now but won’t respond to his name and I think after today’s incident he is even more recluse.
Usually he stays in the same room as me all the time or if I’m away he’ll use my scarf to lay down and sleep but since yelling episode, he is sleeping + hanging out in a different room.

Have I messed this up? I already feel very very guilty and I’m sure he’s super overwhelmed as well.
What can I do to ensure that it’s a safe space?
