It's going to be my first surgery. I have an inguinal hernia on my right side. The doctor said it needs to be repaired with a mesh. He recommended open surgery because it's more cost-effective, and my hernia isn't very serious. Even so, I'm terrified. I don't know what to do. My whole body is shaking with fear.
