Break from the pill, any side effects?
Hi guys I just wanted some advice on my situation atm! I'm on the pill but I don't take the placebo/sugar pills (the coloured ones) so I can stop my periods (I went to my gp for bc to stop my periods entirely but he perscribed me the contraceptive pill instead for context), I started in July of last year and haven't had any problems. I went into my pharmacy today to renew my prescription and get a new pack for the next three months but they told me I should have another six weeks in my current pack?
I didn't check my pack before I went out so I left no problem but I'm home rn and I don't have anymore packs. I'm on my last inactive pill when I take it tonight so I'll be left with the sugar pills, and I found my pack for last month with it's sugar pills so roughly two weeks of those, I'm just wondering what it is exactly I can expect taking the sugar pill after only taking the inactive ones. I suspect I'll get my period yes but bc of the pill will it be on the more regular or irregular side? I started taking the pill because of a horrible period I had on a trip around last year and I'm worried I'll have that same type of period again if I start taking the sugar pill, and if I just go off the pill entirely for six weeks until I can get my new pack?
