Hello, I have recently moved to Japan and have opened a Yucho Bank Account. I received their "cash card" and then I applied for a debit card, however I was rejected on that basis that I have only been a resident for less than a year. I've read that Sony Bank is quite foreigner-friendly, but when I looked further into their accounts, it seems they also require a certain period of residency to qualify for a debit card.

My question is, are there any banks that give debit cards to foreigners with a Zairyuu card, regardless of how long they have been resident in Japan?
