Documents in CNRS portal?

Hi! I know it is very niche, but anyone has the experience to apply for phd thesis from CNRS (france) website?

Are they really strict with the document sequence and what not to be put there?

I know its probably case by case, but my case is there are two different version of document requirement so I just decided to put them all together. After the deadline, I just got replied by the selection committee that there is one document (application form) that is not needed to be submitted through the portal.

I just a bit worried because I really like the project and afraid it will ruin my chances :))))

context: i am applying for a french phd program.

So I just realized that I submitted a cover letter instead of motivation letter (truly my bad i was tripping lmao). But i did provide my motivation on why i want to take this phd topic since it was asked in the application form in ADUM website.

How cooked I am? I cant change my application anymore, but maybe I can ask mercy to send the motivation letter separately to the PI or just explaining that my motivation is explained in the filled application form. I kind of afraid that it shows my tackyness.

previously, the professor followed up on me why i havent finalized my application (to my private email!) but we have not have any discussion about the topic, so i dont want to make it as a big deal.

thanks!
