Hey! Curious how everyone’s experience has been with getting their stipends. I took my oath at the end of July so by no means am I expecting it soon, just curious how long it took everyone’s stipends to get to them. Trying to financially plan as best as I can lol
Incoming medical student here, my school starts July 13th. I applied for army HPSP and my packet went to the board at the end of May. I’m assuming I’m in the June board process so hoping to hear back soon, but does anyone have any idea on when I should hear back?
I’m getting stressed with how close I’m getting to school starting and worried about how long scroll takes and tuition payments coming in. My medical school has a large portion of HPSP students so I’m assuming if I told them what was going on they’d work with me, but I obviously would just like to hear something soon. I’m not too worried about the stipend / bonus being late, I have savings and my parents will help for a little, I’m just mostly worried about tuition being paid to my school, so if anyone has any insight on this, that would be much appreciated!
I also was working with the AF to dual apply and see options, but I’m almost positive that this late in the cycle it’s just not an option. No one has necessarily told me no yet, but timeline wise it really doesn’t feel feasible.
