So, I'm currently engaged in an epic struggle to remove a flash hider from a LE trade in upper I recently bought. I soaked it in hot water for 3 days to dissolve the rocksett. I've been dousing the threads with my homemade acetone/ATF mix for another 3 days to break through the carbon buildup. I have it mounted on an action rod that's clamped in a bench vice. I'm leaning on a 14" pipe wrench and smacking it with a mallet. I've hit it with the torch. It won't budge. AI says to split the flash hider with a Dremel.

Any other bright ideas out there?
