GLM 5.2 is Insane for Token/Money Efficiency.

I have completely switched from ChatGPT 5.5 to GLM 5.2, and it's been a blast so far. It's also surprisingly cheap for what you get.

Shoutout to this provider. I've been doing pretty much all of my work with GLM 5.2 lately. One thing I've noticed is that it's more token-hungry than GPT 5.5. I ran a few comparison tests, and GLM tends to "think out loud" a lot more, so tasks that GPT 5.5 could handle in fewer tokens often end up costing more tokens on GLM.

That said, the pricing more than makes up for it. It's easily one of the best and most cost-effective models I've used. DeepSeek V4 Pro felt underwhelming and way more expensive in comparison, and honestly, so have most of the frontier models I've tried.

Looking forward to seeing what z.ai releases next.

GLM 5.2 High is as good as GPT 5.5

Hello, I’ve given GLM 5.2 a big project of mine with multiple agents working on it together. It’s been pretty good! It has been running for over 24 hours and the results are surprisingly good. It had some hiccups, but the code and the project work fine, and the pricing is absolutely amazing. Feels like GPT-5.5 level for half a million tokens at around $46, which is also an absolute bargain. What do you guys think about GLM 5.2?
