I come home from work and don’t make too much money or have a lot of time but I still try to get in at least 30-60 minutes a day of something to keep myself active and try to tone myself a little. Here’s what I do:
30 standard pushups
30 wide grip pushups
30 closed grip pushups
30 incline pushups
30 skull crushers
30 chair dips
30 sit ups
1 minute plank
My main focus is my chest, shoulders, biceps and triceps. I do a lot of walking for work so I’m not worried about my legs, plus they’re pretty toned because of it already. The sit-ups and planks aren’t to gain abs, it’s just more so to lose some of these love handles and for more direct core engagement. I don’t want a big chest, big shoulders or big arms. Just something nice for my wife to grab every now and then either when we’re out or in the bedroom. I’m pretty good at hitting my protein goals for the day usually ranging between 70-100g a day. I could be better with my water intake though. I only get in about 25oz of pure water a day and I only use water for my shakes but that’s aside from the 25oz I drink.
