On a ride today in eastern San Diego county California. Using Nav to get from Oceanside to Julian without highways. I have no dirt roads checked. It proceeds to direct me 12 miles on a county road and suggests I turn right. Onto a dirt driveway. No other road in site. I am on a k1600GT so only option is a u-turn and to go back to the junction 12 miles previous.

I’ve owned the bike 4 years and this is probably the 12th time this has happened. In a variety of states. PA, FL, NM and now CA. And my maps are updated.

Do us a favor. Just give up. Hand the nav to the pros. I am sure the Goldwing I was following later was not a victim of the same plight.
