Sun & Moon popup for Home Assistant
Finished Zon & Maan (Sun & Moon) popup card and wanted to share it here, feedback and suggestions are welcome!
What it shows:
- Live sun arc visualization with the current sun position
- Sunrise & sunset times
- Day duration
- Golden hour times (morning & evening) with color gradient bars
- Moon phase with Dutch localization (but easy to translate)
- Next moon phase
Stack:
- UI Lovelace Minimalist
- custom:button-card templates
- Browser Mod popup
- SVG arc drawn purely in the card template
- `sun.sun` + `sensor.moon` entities
Popups I've built so far:
- Sun & Moon: live sun arc, sunrise/sunset, day duration, golden hour bars, moon phase + next phase
- Media Player (Sonos): grouped speaker control, source selection, now playing with marquee, battery status for portable speakers
- Notification Center: aggregated view of open doors/windows, HA updates, HACS pending updates, Proxmox alerts, repairs, add-on updates, waste collection, motion sensors, and alarm state
