Can I get top surgery at 14/15 years old in middle Europe?
Hello, I'm a 14 years old trans boy (15 in august). I came out at 11 years old. It took time for my family to take it into consideration but I now function as a boy among my family and friends. I didn't make any other progress though. My documents still use my legal name, I'm not on hormone blockers or testosterone, I haven't been to sexuology. The furthest I got was group sittings for people with gender dysphoria. (Speaking of, I fear it's getting pretty bad. My breasts aren't large, I think average, if not below average for my age, I don't know if that matters for top surgery. What concerns me is that they will definitely grow in the future unless I start blockers or testosterone or get top surgery) (which I'm hoping for).
I live in the Czech Republic (middle Europe) (I heard good things about the surgeons in Germany). Does anyone know if it's possible to get top surgery around middle Europe at 14 or 15 years of age? With parental consent of course. Mum and dad are kind and quite supportive, so I hope there won't be much issue on their side.
I fear I may be told I'm too young for top surgery, and, fair enough. Or too young to know what I want, and, fair enough again. But I have been this way for almost 4 years, I think it should be taken into consideration.
Or, what should I do next? I'm clueless. I was told at the sittings mentioned above that I can apply for sexuology appointment relatively easily, just that the waiting times are long. I wasn't told anything else and it's hard to find info on top surgery, so I'm sorry that this is a bit messy. Also sorry for bad English, I'm Czech as said above 😔. Thank you for reading.
