Winter Subjects Advice

I've been looking at two winter subjects:

  1. Free Play New Music Improvisation Ensem (MUSI20164)

  2. Samba Band (MUSI 20163)

It seems that these subjects are very similarly structured, but the assessment criteria "Active contribution" and "Performance" which take up 50% and 35% of the subject scores are quite vague and I'm not sure what exactly I need to do in those do get a high score.

Can anyone give me any insight for these subjects? Are the fun? Are they tough? Are they WAM boosters? Thanks so much!!!

Hi everyone, I'm a year one student doing B-SCI this year, and every since the start of the year I've just been really struggling to keep up. I managed to attend all my classes, finish all the summary notes, practice questions, and assignments every week but I am just constantly stressed out by the number of deadlines that just seem never ending.

I've lost almost all my social life and barely had time on any of my hobbies, and it's only Year 1. When I was in high school everyone was telling me how easy year 1 is and that I should enjoy it while I can. If I'm already struggling so terribly I just can't imagine how it would be in Year 2 and onwards.

Besides, since I have the graduate degree package for DVM, I'm required to get 70% WAM, and I feel like it's just such a stretch at this point based on the practice MST/assessments I've done.

Anyone else experiencing something similar? Welcoming any advice/study tips with sincere appreciation.
