Unemployed for 9 months now, broke, living with parents and I can’t stop fucking crying
36m. I was fired from my systems engineer job last December and replaced by an Indian. This is the 3rd time I’ve been replaced by an Indian for low cost IT labor. I’ve applied to hundreds of jobs and gotten some interviews but every employer has been super picky and I’ve gotten no offers. I feel like I should be so much further ahead right now in my current stage of life. I know the job market is horrible right now but AI doesn’t seem to be making thing any better. I am in a deep depression and now my only source of income is donating plasma. Everyday I wake myself up and go to bed crying feeling like I just want to give up. I really hope things get better but right now it all feels so hopeless.
