Advice needed.
Hi everyone, i'm looking to learn this wonderful sport and i'm looking for tips to help transitioning from hobby to playing in a club. I'm in my late 30s. So far i have only played mostly outside with a few ocasional games on a regular table(2 times per year). Club practice will be once a week for the hobby group and im looking for ways to get more reps in like footwork drills, shadow practice. Was thinking also about improvising at home with a large desk and some sort of return board. What ways would help the most to improve my foundation quickly so i can join the active club players, reaching entry level? As far as equipment goes, i'm using a second hand blade from ebay (gewo sensus powerfeeling, xiom musa I, donic desto f3) have decent feel for control but im having trouble with the sweetspot. I've been using a joola carbon with micron rubbers before the gewo blade and i think im more used to it. Should i replace these entirely?
I'm watching a lot of youtube but i need some structure for the basics. Any tips and resources would be appreciated, tyvm.
