Very hot today in my neck of the woods- mid 90s fahrenheit! Mad from the heat, the only solution was to drink water and smoke a few maduros to regain my sanity lol. Love the woody earthy flavors from the Tabernacle. Definitely something I go through a lot of. Also the DE Undercrown is a great stick for the money. Really a great stick to smoke.
Smoked this one this afternoon. Nice burn and draw. Strong cocoa and chocolate notes throughout. Good value stick.
I posted earlier that these came in this morning, and of course I smoked one straight out of the box! It was in great condition to smoke. Excellent maduro stick. For me it was very earthy on the cold draw. After getting it burning, lots of coffee and chocolate flavors built throughout the smoke. Burn line was a little wavy but didn't need correction and great smoke output. I had not smoked one of these in 5 years but it was nice to revisit. These are in their prime now for sure. Great pickup.
My order from cigaroutlet.com came in today. Packed well with a Boveda in the box that was still partially soft. Cigars smelled amazing right out of the box. I took one of of the cello and it's in great condition. Wrapper still has its oils. I'm going to smoke that one this afternoon right from the box. I put the others in the humidor to acclimate. Great experience and great deal at $.75 a stick!
Always impressed by the El Titan short filler sticks. Good choice for a car stick. Good even burn. Nice chocolate/cocoa profile. This batch has 9 months on it and it has matured into something very nice. These need age at home because they don't get it in the factory. Also pictured is my stinky car ashtray. Haven't found anything better yet. The only complaint with it is on smaller vitolas the clip damages the wrapper.
Smoked this while out on my morning errands. I recently got into the Maduro bundle of the HVC Pan Caliente and was so impressed I bought the CT version. This one also surprised me. It was a great mild cigar, smooth, creamy, with none of the bitter undertones that sometimes plague ecuador ct wrapped blends. A nice one to have in my car humidor for driving around.
