Can anyone explain to me where my V-Bucks came from or tell me a way to check? I got way more than expected after linking GPU
I expected 1000 but got 6100 today and I'm not sure why. Not complaining though, just wondering where it came from.
Newish player, haven't bought anything, played a bit a couple years ago, and jumped in for a bit a couple weeks ago for a concert map, I'm fairly certain I had 0 V-Bucks when I initially opened the game today before linking my Game Pass. Where it now tells me how many I have it just said V-Bucks on every page that displays it and clicking it brought me to a place to buy some so I assume that means zero.
I recently learned I can get free Crew by linking the game with my Game Pass Ultimate, so I linked my accounts and logged in via Xbox cloud to activate it before jumping off that and logging back in natively.
I expected to get 1000 V-Bucks from Crew, My friend who invited me to play was waiting on me so didn't check how much I had until after a few rounds of Unranked 2 player team Zero Build Battle Royale (mentioning in case that matters for some rewards).
My wallet is currently at 6100. Looking through the Crew and battle pass screens I see I got the 1k from benefits and 100 from the Showdown pass. I completed both pages of Showdown but didn't gat far enough in any of the other passes for any V-Bucks. Just 3/12 into Winterfrost and 6/12 into Elite Jules. The rest are locked. I'm Lvl 23. Is there any promotions or other ways to get V-Bucks that I missed to explain where the extra 5k came from?
