Been a while since I hit a virus + tome of yyahan run but that strategy got a massive buff with the calc/retort/philo scaling being global and virus cd lowered a few patches ago. Still makes for the most entertaining run in the game with meticulous planning to make it work

For those who don't know, transforming a reagent on board in a fight with virus counts towards buffs provided by items like tome of yyahan, calcinator, retort, and philosopher's stone. You can cheese certain monster fights with a full board of reagents and a philo stone for regen to get 8 transforms and then pivot late game into something with the buffs you got. In this case I used the permanent regen from yyahan with staff of the moose to buff the octopus

Honestly I thought this wouldnt give one since its normal enchant gives a reagent of its tier and distilled sunlight starts at gold. I was hoping for the undefined behavior dropping a silver distilled sunlight :(

Shiny invuln potion no longer has double invulnerability duration and instead gains the half health use.

Depends on how you look at it whether or not its a nerf. This board for example its a buff because it looped anyways (until running out of ammo)

Turns out when you get more than 40 skills it just gives up and decides not to display them but the effect is still there. I have 42 skills end game here thanks to 3 book of secrets on day 5. Somehow never found my beloved staff of the wise
