Hello everyone, so I would like some advice regarding my situation :
I graduated last year with a master’s degree in Business administration (Chartered Accountancy, Controlling, Audit as my options). Nevertheless, I started working in the Finance department of a big Real Estate company in september 2024, since I only had my thesis and a class left.
Now, as you can see in the title, I applied for the SWIFT Graduate Program and what the recruiter told me is « we are looking for people with limited experience, aka less than a year of professional experience, or newly graduate. I’ll have to ask about extending the scope ». I’ve only been working for a year and a half, graduated last june so it seems a bit harsh. I still haven’t heard back from him.
I would like to make a switch into FP&A / Controlling, but it seems that for every Graduate Program, i have too much experience, but not enough for the actual field I wanna get into.
What would you do in my place ?
