Today was a normal day for me until I decided to take a short walk after my lessons. I wore Leguano Aktiv shoes, which means extremely flexible and thin. I did this "childish" thing of walking on the edge between grass and the sidewalk to test my balance and that was quite fun. I walked on dirst, grass, gravel and concrete as well. I'm only 1,5 months in barefoot adaptation and I'm doing amazing. I didn't walk 7 km at once just FYI, that's the total walked distance of my whole day.

The result right now? Fatigue. I feel stuff that I didn't know existed in my feet. However there's no pain and no injury, which is good. I'm now chilling and massaging my feet.

For contrast in normal shoes I was capable of walking 20 km in a day, but in this case my feet did less work, obviously...

Anyway, I'm happy. Here's a video of walking on the edge because why not.

I bought my first pair of barefoot shoes about 1,5 months ago. They're Xero Breckenridge boots and I fell in love with them instantly. It's a workout but a good one. My posture is improving. Recently I got a pair of Leguano Aktiv and while they are much narrower, the extreme flexibility and super thin sole feel amazing on my feet. I like how it's like a sock with rubber. There's literally zero support and barely any weight and my feet have to do the stabilising work. Overall barefoot shoes allow me more fidgeting and that's another huge bonus. I always try the shoes on before buying and check different sizes to get the right one. So far my size picks were always correct.

I already cannot wear many of my normal shoes comfortably. Am I adapting really fast or is the pace normal?

Anyway, I attached pics of my beloved shoes. I changed the Leguanos' laces to red for aesthetics and I'm thinking of adding beads on them. I am very happy about what I got.
