I built Rueh a personal calming audio app for moments when your mind won’t stop
Hey everyone,
I’m building Rueh, a personal calming audio app for moments when your mind feels too loud.
The idea is simple: instead of browsing through a generic meditation library, you write one sentence about what you’re feeling, and Rueh turns it into a short personal calming audio.
Examples:
- “I can’t sleep because my thoughts won’t stop.”
- “I feel anxious, but I don’t know why.”
- “It’s Sunday evening and I already feel stressed about Monday.”
- “I’m about to get on a flight and I feel nervous.”
- “I need to focus, but my brain feels scattered.”
Who it’s for:
Rueh is for people who want something more personal than a normal meditation app, especially in small but intense moments like overthinking at night, stress after work, exam anxiety, loneliness, or nervousness before a flight.
Why I built it:
I always felt that meditation apps are helpful, but often too generic. When you’re actually overwhelmed, you don’t want to search through 200 sessions. You want something that fits the exact moment you’re in.
How it stands out:
Rueh doesn’t give everyone the same meditation. It creates a calming audio around your own situation. You can also listen to sample meditations before signing up, so you don’t have to commit blindly.
It’s not therapy and it doesn’t replace professional help. It’s a wellness tool for short personal calming audios.
I’d really appreciate honest feedback on:
- whether the concept is clear
- whether the landing page makes you want to try it
- what would stop you from signing up
- which use case feels strongest: sleep, stress, panic/overwhelm, focus, or flying
