Any Experience with “seizures” first one? Older lab

My black lab turned 11 end of May this year. We get the lubrela shot once a month for arthritis. He’s a good looking 11 year old with puppy spunk.

Every morning he follows me to the bathroom to say good morning. This morning He walks in the bathroom, walks out, walks in circles and then collapses and just starts shaking… all limbs going. “Paddle shaking”. He was alert with his eyes, and his movements were probably less than a minute. He was definitely scared when the shaking stopped and started trembling from it. He goes right to his bed … still trembling. I laid with him for a bit then tried to see if he’d get up and eat. It took him a few minutes but he got up fine and went to eat. We had a normal morning stroll.. everything was fine?

Then this evening he couldn’t get settled. On his bed, to the living room, next to me, back to his bed, back to me… he’s still acting this way. Can’t get comfortable. I’ve just made a bed on the floor by him to see if he can relax.

Has anyone else experienced this or something like it. This is the first time it’s happened and I will call my vet in the morning. I was monitoring him all day, he’s been normal then. But him moving here there and everywhere now is making me worried.

Shedding season!

I’m in Hawaii so you’d think it’s always shedding season, but my god, it is shedding season!!! Especially these couple months! There’s always so much hair. It doesn’t matter how many sweeps a day, 4 layer brushes at the park, and just for fun, covering couches with a blanket protector… shedding season is in full swing!

I was posting this just to vent but while I’m here!
If anyone has any secret tips, it is always appreciated!

No matter the hair, labs are always the best🫶🏽
