I've been wanting to make a crochet pattern for a crochet version of the Technoplane Technoblade merch, but I'm not sure how copyright laws affect crochet patterns. Is it legal and okay for me to create and sell a pattern like this? Could it be a free pattern? I know pretty much nothing about copy right laws so any feedback would be appreciated.

I've seen lots of patterns depicting
characters in shows and games, but not sure how legal recreating real merchandise is.
