Car A/C issue
Hey y’all — hoping some mechanics or car-savvy people can help me figure out what might be going on with my vehicle’s AC (2020 Palisade)before I take it in somewhere.
The AC always blows air, but the issue is that sometimes it blows ice cold and works perfectly, and other times it’s just blowing warm/regular air like the cold air cuts out. It seems random. Sometimes it’ll stay cold for a while, then suddenly switch to warm air, then later start blowing cold again.
Does this sound like it could just need Freon/refrigerant, or does it sound more like a compressor or electrical issue? Also, if you’ve dealt with this before, was it an expensive repair?
Trying to get an idea of what I might be dealing with before taking it to a shop. Thanks in advance!
