As we all know ducks make a tremendous mess. I made this stand for a waterer to help keep the brooder dry. I used a cement mixing tub and a pvc shower drain. I drilled a hole in the bottom of the tub, removed the metal screen from the drain and siliconed it in place. Then I used a heat gun to make the tub slope downward. I made a stand out of scrap 2x6s, with 1x center supports and welded wire grating. I cut a hole in the floor of the coop so everything just drains underneath.
