Urgent advice England: Court order to submit paperwork to county court
Hi there,
Sitation: I recently (April) recieved an email asking me to submit a DQ for a civil case I'm involved in. I had sent this in December 2025. I emailed back saying I had already submited it and attached the DQ form again. A few weeks later I recieved a court order saying I had to file my DQ or my defence and counter claim would be struck out. I emailed again, called, emailed again called and have called again today which is the deadline day and the DQ is still not showing as filed.
The court order deadline is today.
The customer services teams that I can contact are just telling me to email again and given me the complaints email address. But this doesn't really help if my defence/counter-claim are struck out and the judgement goes against me.
What I have done so far:
I have sent the DQ again and shared screen shots of me submitting it in the past and the confirmation of reciept from the court.
My worry:
My worry is that they don't see any of my emails (as they haven't already) and the ruling goes against me despite my repeated filings, attempts at contact etc. I understand I can make an application to set aside the ruling etc. but that's just more of a headache and I'm worried about what may happen in the interim.
My question:
What are my options? I feel powerless. I've called the contact number mutliple times. I've emailed them so many times with Urgent, the court deadline in the subject line and more. I've called the court but they wouldn't put me through to anyone and just told me to contact customer services.
What can I do? i feel like this is ruining my life.
