Hey everyone,
I’ve come quite far in the process and honestly I’m just confused and stressed now.
I got admitted to Ca’ Foscari for a bachelor’s, and I really wanted to go to Italy. But now with this new €10,000/year financial requirement being discussed, I don’t know if it’s even realistic for me anymore.
My situation is:
Applying from Delhi embassy
Only my mother is my sponsor (no father, no other support)
No relatives I can show as additional sponsors
Total funds I can show: ₹22 lakhs (fully genuine, no sudden deposits)
I cannot increase this amount further
I keep reading that they might expect higher funds now, maybe even considering full course duration, and it’s honestly making me question everything.
So I just want honest opinions:
- Is ₹22L still enough for a bachelor’s visa in Italy now?
- Or am I just wasting time at this point and should start looking at other countries?
I’ve worked really hard to reach this stage, so it’s tough to even think about dropping it.
Would really appreciate real experiences, especially from recent applicants.
Thanks 🙏
