Hi everyone

I got new glasses yesterday from Specsavers which are a UK based opticians.

I feel that one of the lenses has been cut poorly. Note I had to have my lenses thinned down to fit the mental frame.

You can see from the photo of left lens is still significantly thicker than the right. The prescription in this eye is -4.24 whereas the right is -3

My question is, has this lens been cut poorly or is it always going to look thicker than the right because the prescription is stronger? I just thought they would be cut down to a size that matches.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks
