October 17th show in the Shoe

To those who are unaware lights displaying “to here” with the date 10/17/2026 are being displayed on the Ohio state football stadium. With this being a venue that can hold up to 100k people do we assume the goal of this concert is to be the true send off of the lore before an extended break?

One last show in the stadium that Tyler loves before taking a final bow and getting the rest they need seems like a fitting end to this Clancy/ breach era. They are setting it up to be one of their biggest shows ever and they obviously want it to be.

I think Tyler believes they can sellout the stadium and beat Mexico City’s record of 65k. I for one will be willing to travel to help break that record if this show continues to build up the hype

If they do a Columbus/ Ohio tour are out of state people allowed to go?

So I live in the Midwest, just not Ohio. And if they do a small tour at some of the venues would Ohio residents be made at some out of staters coming in to see em?

Side note I think the small tour would be called the from here tour since it would be a small tour for their city.

Either way pretty cool they decided to do something with all the festivals this year. With all the hiatus talks it’s nice to see them start to do unexpected events like the movie, whatever this is and all the festivals and performances. Gives me hope that they won’t be taking any extended breaks but allowing the ample time with their families when they want it

Edit now that people are responding: two things I thought of speculation wise

  1. When do they even have the time to do this tour? If it’s this month they don’t have enough time to market the shows. If it’s later in the year it’d be after the festivals as most of those shows are spread out worldwide

  2. Is it entirely possible that they could be starting promotion for a new song called from here? Maybe they passed out the signs and stuff to film a music video in advanced? Seems like Tyler would write a song in tribute to the place he loves the most
