Review of some products skincare and makeup :)
I wanted to share a review of some products I recently picked up - as I said in the past, you really gotta find the dollar tree that is stocked up cuz otherwise it's a constant hunt for products haha. Micellar water is a key example! I have searched for sooooo long at my local store but it was of course only at my mom's local store along with these other goodies I got.
Micellar water worked really well! I don't use waterproof makeup so someone who does can share about that, but I found it worked great for removing my full face of makeup (I used cotton rounds i had picked up from dollar tree in the past).
The ioni lip pencils are so creamy and pigmented. I do feel like they move but I have been trying to dust my face with powder and use a good bit of setting spray too. I will say that true brown is one I have been searching for in all makeup brands and I was pleasantly surprised to find the color in dollar tree and it is really nicely pigmented!!
Last pic shows the wax strips - I was honestly skeptical but they proved me wrong! Very comparable to Sally Hansen and honestly the strips worked super well as long as you follow the instructions of warming with hands, applying properly and pulling. The wipes were great too, i would definitely repurchase!
Last the beauty blenders - I was SHOCKED to find a 3 pack (and with a fancy little case too)! I haven't used them yet but will update on the material because I honestly am kinda picky about my beauty blenders (some aren't soft enough or dont properly blend / pick up makeup), but I just had to share that these exist because I dont think I have seen them on the sub yet! Also, they had the 3 pack with the ice cream top shape as well, but I prefer this classic shape. I also saw 2 packs and the classic 1 as well as a bunch of the mini sponges and such, but i prefer beauty blenders to those sponges. I will definitely post an update after using them (for reference i love the real techniques beauty blenders they're amazing, so if this comes close to that I would love it!).
I also saw a bunch of brush packs (makeup) but the bristles didn't look that great quality so I will hold out to see if other makeup users in this sub can share reviews about any brushes they've gotten from DT.
