Breaking Apartment Lease Questions
Hello guys I wanted to ask what are people’s experience when breaking a lease. Due to some situations that have been occurring with my next year roommate I’ve been debating breaking the lease for an apartment that have with her. A total of 4 of us are in the lease for the apartment but the roommate I have been having problems with is the one who made the main one and added our 3 other roommates to it. To give you guys more context this is a lease for Portage Bay, so any of you who have experience with that apartment please hit me up. If I end up backing out of the lease will I have to pay for rent until they find someone else or will I just need to pay for a fee? Our lease begins on the first of September and that is when first rent it is due, will it be possible to cancel my lease and what possible repercussions of it? Sorry if this doesn’t make sense I’m just in distress over this.😭😭😭😭
