Hi all, less than a year in the QLD public service. I am considering moving from full-time to part-time at my current place, but I have two substantial trips coming up in the next 12 months that I would basically need all my leave for at the current rate, so have realised that might be impacted.
This might be a stupid question but as annual leave is accrued pro-rata, do I still technically have the same amount of leave as everyone else as I only have to take leave for the days I would normally work?
Say I work 3 days a week, but want to take 2 full weeks off. Do I have to use up 10 days of leave or only 6?
EDIT: Thanks team, I assumed I wouldn't have to take leave for the days I don't work but I got myself in a worry. Appreciate all the help!
