Help regarding concert outfit, probably culture appreciation or appropriation?
Hi everyone!
I don't know if this is the right subreddit but I don't know where to ask so here goes nothing.
I'm crocheting my outfit for the concert this summer and I've started and stopped, unravel and re-started like 3 times now because every time it just didn't feel right. Then I came across a modern hanbok top. I got the pattern and got really excited. But then I realized I should probably ask if I can wear this in the first place?
So, Korean armies, would it be ok if I (a mixed Latina very white presenting) wear a hanbok top? It's more of an inspired look since yarn can't exactly hold the shape it's supposed to, but I don't want to appropriate or disrespect anyone.
It, of course, would be light purple color and the details would be BTS and Army logos.
Any and all advice is welcomed!
Update!
Here's the link to the patterns! Idk why it doesn't show up in the comments. Her store in Etsy is called Hazyrice
