How awful would an Evo IX be for a first car?
I understand an Evo for a first car may sound insane to many people, but I need genuine advice. I’m looking at IX’s and see I can pickup a solid one for 35k at auction or private sellers. The 4g63, AYC, 4wd and 4 doors really make me love it. Power isn’t much of an issue I’m used to an m8 competition and Tesla plaid, however, will I want to chop my head off with maintenance? Fortunately I don’t have to worry too much in the financial part of this, but will I die and do I sound like an idiot? Also considering a VI as that’s mean my favorite since I was little, but that seems like an even worse decision. Please be honest, I can’t decide between this, a 135is BMW, an e46 M3, or a 335d. I also have snow a couple times a year that sticks where I live, so the awd is a pulling force. All other suggestions will be appreciated.
