I'm going on a cruise of Japan in April 2027. We disembark in Kobe on April 29. I was thinking about staying that day and flying out the next, but the main reason I'd want to do that is to see Himeji Castle, as its only about an hour away. From what I understand, April 29 starts off the Golden Week, and tourist places are likely to be very busy. Would it be worth it to try to see Himeji Castle on that day (the earliest I could realistically get there is probably between 11am and noon), or will it just be too crowded?
