Does anyone else find this kind of weird?
Bear with me for a second. Never in my life of owning a PlayStation have I seen the PS Store just have NO deals on the deals tab. Even during transitions there were always at least some random sales going on. Now all of a sudden they’re gone and it says they resume on the 13th?
Meanwhile there’s tons of speculation that GTA 6 Trailer 3 and pre-orders could drop on the 12th… which is a Tuesday, the day Rockstar almost always drops major announcements.
Take-Two also has an earnings call coming up shortly after, and what would hype investors more than GTA 6 preorder numbers?
Maybe I’m completely high off hopium but the timing is weird as hell. If this happened on some random week I wouldn’t think twice about it, but I’ve genuinely never seen the store like this before.
Also, Sony HAS to be losing money by not having sales up. I rarely buy games at full price and I know a lot of people are the same way. So it makes me wonder if they’re clearing the runway for something massive that would easily offset that.
