Can we ever be reconciled?
With politics being as decisive as they are, family's are going no contact, tribalism is on the rise, otherwise rational people are behaving poorly, and algorithms are fueling the flames.
Will we ever find any reconciliation or will we always be stuck in a never ending cycle of pendulum swing, tit for tat cold war with each other?
Every election cycle seems to be more of the same. One side gains power and does their best to undo everything the previous side had done. If they stay in power after the next cycle, phase 2 is always punishing the other side for grievances.
Will there ever be an intelligent, charismatic leader that has a lazer focus on the issues we all can agree on? Perhaps a better question is: is there anything left that most Americans agree on?
I'm so burnt out from hearing about transgender sports and bathrooms, ICE, Isreal, iran, culture war bullshit.
