Gained 90lbs my first year teaching lmao

I quit and now it’s time to get ⏳again!!! I started a GLP1 and I’ve been walking more! Maybe I’ll get into some type of fitness class! I don’t have a job lined up, but I know I don’t need the stress of teaching in my life.

Anyone else gain a thousand pounds while teaching? 😂

Quitting after my first year?

I am thinking about leaving teaching forever. I have already resigned from my school because I am moving from Memphis to Nashville. The problem I am stuck at is if I even want to teach anymore.

I have been applying to schools in Nashville and have been getting rejected left and right bc I am on a permit. I went the alternative route and am halfway through my program. Passed my content knowledge exam and everything.

My first year was horrible. Admin was devilish. Kids were terrible but honestly not as bad as the adults. I guess I’m stuck on what to do. I haven’t worked a corporate job in years and I’m considering working 2 part-time jobs to pay bills and figure out what to do next.

I’ve gained 90lbs, started an antidepressant & anxiety meds because of this school year. lol I feel abused almost. Where do I go from here? 😅
