I'm looking to use a winch to pull a cable maybe 1.5 feet over 6 seconds. the load is 50lbs - 400lbs, but the key is that it is consistently the same rate. Is this something an electric winch can do or should i be looking at some other device?

I'm looking at a used version of the echelon connect ex1. I'm reading a lot of posts about a forced subscription and a mandatory update. is that a problem with this version?

my kid rode a peloton at a hotel and loved the free ride with the screen. I'm looking to use mywhoosh and an old tablet with it and a little overwhelmed at how complicated this all seems to be.
