9 Months on YouTube… and I Feel Like Giving Up

I’ve been working hard on my YouTube channel for the last 9 months. I really gave it all my effort, but I still failed to reach monetization.

One of my videos reached 35k views, and it basically gave me almost all my subscribers and watch hours. But now, after 365 days, those watch hours are starting to disappear, and it’s really frustrating seeing the numbers go back down to almost zero.

I have uploaded around 54 long videos. After that one video blew up, I lost all momentum. I tried everything to get the channel active again:

Shorts

Long videos

Better hooks

Different thumbnail styles

But nothing works. Most of my videos now get only 3–5 views, and honestly it feels like something is wrong. I don’t know if I lost my audience, if the algorithm stopped pushing my content, or if I’m just doing something wrong.

At this point, posting videos feels pointless. I’m seriously thinking about quitting YouTube and maybe focusing on a completely different field in the future.

Has anyone else experienced this?
