Hi! I’m a 21-year-old student living in Brussels. I currently have a student job, but I’m thinking about working more hours (around 30h/week).
I know there’s a limit of around 600–650 hours per year for student work, but I’m a bit confused about what happens if I go over it.
Do I just start paying higher taxes automatically through my salary, or do I have to handle anything myself? And roughly how much more would I be taxed?
Also, is it still worth working more hours as a student in Belgium, or does it become much less advantageous?
Thanks in advance!
