As pe the title, I'm looking for tyres for my Ioniq 5N - currently on the original Pirellis PZ4s, which skip at the front end in the cold.
Was tempted to move to the Michelin PS4S as I had them on my previous Tesla, but I see that there are now PSS5s available... which might be better? Can't see any reviews for them though.
I'm also intrigued by the new Pirelli P Zero Rs that won the recent high performance tyre test, but given my PZ4s only lasted 8000 miles, I would like a tyre that lasted a bit longer next time, ideally and again, these tyres don't have many reviews out at the moment, so I'm not sure what wear levels and efficiency are like.
Then there's the Continental Sport Contact 7, which previously won the UHP tyre test, but got bested by the Pirelli this time, but I wonder if it would be a more suitable tyre for the road. My car is my daily, so won't ever see a track, so efficiency would be nice, as long as I'm not losing performance on the road.
Does anyone have experience of any of these tyres, specifically with an EV?
Obviously the ideal tyre would be the best performing most comfortable, lowest wear, most efficient one available, but I'm aware that most of those characteristics are likely to oppose one another.
I just wish there was a way to compare them all on all those factors to help make an informed decision.
