Looking for a pro designer to save my outdoor kitchen project (North Texas)
For starters, will pay! I definitely need professional design service.
I’m currently mid build on a major backyard overhaul. My contractor has been in over his head on design from the beginning, and I simply can’t find the time to do his work for him anymore.
Major components are pool and outdoor kitchen. The pool is coming along nicely, but has been a massive time sink for me to hand hold.
Now we’re into kitchen design. And his rendering is super rushed together. Looks terrible honestly. Major appliances are: grill, smoker, and pizza oven. We already have stone and brick chosen, but just need help finalizing placement of everything and, specifically, designing a brick enclosure for the pizza oven.
Attached is his rendering. He designed around RCS. We chose 1:1 Coyote equivalents and a different pizza oven (I can send all that after we agree to work together). You’ll definitely need more info to complete the project, but this is hopefully enough to confirm interest. Specific list of asks is:
- Optimize placement of everything
- Confirm we have what we need
- Design an enclosure for the pizza oven using the same white brick shown for the pillars
- Help choose a smoker (I’m thinking a simple pellet smoker is best for us) and improve that overall design. I’m not crazy about that dropped counter design. I’ve seen framed cutouts that might be better. Open to input here though.
- Anything else that I’m missing!
