At first, I was completely team Amelony. I loved the way they got to know each other - the small gestures, the mutual interest, the clear desire to be together. Their connection gave me genuine hope for a truly happy ending for Amelia, because she deserves it more than anyone.

However, after the latest episode, I found myself changing my mind, unfortunately.

It seems that some time has passed since the previous episode: maybe days, maybe weeks, since Amelia bravely told Tony that she truly wanted her and asked her not to go back to Tony’s ex. It was a moment that reminded me of the iconic “Pick me, choose me, love me” scene, but without the cringe, delivered in a mature and restrained way.

And what happens afterward? Tony avoids Amelia. She doesn’t give her a clear answer, doesn’t make a choice, and remains stuck in indecision. In my view, there is something deeply unhealthy- if not outright toxic about Tony’s behavior here.

Tony got divorced because she felt suffocated. She openly admits that her ex-wife had control issues, and she understands that Céline wants them to get back together not necessarily out of pure love, but out of a need to avoid feeling like the marriage was a failure. Tony is aware of all this.

On the other hand, she has a real alternative: an existing, steady love. A kind, generous, thoughtful woman, intelligent and emotionally aware, who is clear about what she wants and willing to commit, not as a backup option, but wholeheartedly.

For that reason, I believe Amelia should let go. Anyone who is unsure whether you are good enough for them, who keeps you waiting instead of choosing you, is simply not worth you. Real love does not leave room for doubt where there should be certainty.
