How long did it take you to get your book out? From first notes/draft all the way to publishing day. I just realized I wrote my first book about 4 months ago and feel like it’s been forever (22 pages, 2 lines per page). A friend is illustrating and I’m so thrilled with everything going on, but I feel like there’s no real end in sight. Maybe I’m being unrealistic!?
My LO has mild eczema and the allergist recommended using cetaphil wash, which works just fine but I want to avoid fragrance. Any recs for a fragrance free body wash/shampoo that that helps LOs with eczema?
Also looking for a bath or shower head water filter. I spent tons of time looking into them a while back and was overwhelmed by all the choices… anyone have one that they love?
My LO is sensitive to peanuts and eggs, otherwise can have pretty much anything. We don’t do added sugar and try to keep things as close to a whole food diet as possible. Clementines and other fruits are the go to (and Serenity puffs, Once Upon a Farm melts). Any other ideas? Would like to get away from the baby snacks is possible.
We avoid screens as much as possible, but we FaceTime family members (out of town) a few times a week. Our 13mo unfortunately loves taking the phone and walking around with it and gets very upset when we take it away (to be fair, this is the reaction when most things are taken away- woohoo tantrums). Anyone else in the same boat? Wondering if we should stop FaceTiming altogether, but we like that our LO gets to see the grandparents.
What’s a book that you’ll always recommend to parents? Do you typically go for books with important lessons? Hoping to more thoughtfully expand my child’s library and get gifts for expecting friends.
