Council estate
Has anyone got any recommendations which are very British council estate? Think along the lines of British Shameless. Even better if it was early 90’s time frame, but not too bothered about that.
I’ve read Garron Park/Lot 62/Knock Knock/ Stupid Dirty (and all the books in that series). Think they are a good concept, but as I’m British I just can’t get my head around the trailer park life, and would like to read the yearning/enemies to lovers/we shouldn’t be doing this romance from this type of perspective. Most British ones I’ve read or been pointed towards are all aristocratic in nature which are good, but there is something about council estates which are more interesting. (Note lived next to them more of my life and most pals are from council estates so probably relate more to them than rich folk)
