How common actually is “idea theft” in writing?

I’ve heard numerous stories of people sharing their ideas/concepts for a novel or whatever it may be online, just to find their exact idea to be in a book before they made theirs.

What are the odds someone actually sees your idea and decides to either write it themselves or have a bot do it for them?

Im currently working on a leaderboard of all the win rates in “Guy Fights” by SpennTF2. Can someone confirm if this already exists or not so I don’t waste my time?

Genuine question. If the Backrooms are so big, isn’t it really unlikely that Mary would find Async workers?

I’ve heard the Backrooms is either 3 times bigger than earth or just straight up infinite.

So wouldn’t it be statistically impossible for her to find Async after just one day in the Backrooms?

Or am I misunderstanding something?

Can someone explain “the orb” lore to me?

People keep bringing up the orb and it’s scaring me.

Not to a point where I’m concerned of course. But enough for me to question it.

Friendly reminder that even if Lazer won 11 more games without losing, it would still have a lower win-rate than Orbital (please nerf Orbital

What is everything you need to know before watching the Backrooms film?

I’ve heard the people that are less familiar with how the backrooms work get less enjoyment out of the movie, so what should I know?

Why doesn’t everyone donate their organs after death? Anyone can do it and you’re not using them anymore?

After I die I’ll donate most, if not all of my body to either medical research or for sick people who need them. I really see no reason not to?

Block Breaker idea - “Clacker👬” (sorry about how bad the drawing is)

“Clacker” would have two separate bodies attached by a string.

Every time they clack (collide with one another) they both get +1 damage.

For an opponent to beat Clacker, they’d only need to kill one of the bodies (kinda like how you only have to kill the first duplicater to defeat it).

Is this a good idea or does the concept need improvement?

I’m from Scotland, AMA

You can ask me whatever you want about being Scottish.

You can ask about any information regarding what the culture is like, how the people who live here are, stuff about nature and the general wildlife.

Whatever you’re curious about.

WYR be trapped in a room with a dementia patient and you can’t leave until you have taught them how to play chess and they beat you at chess (you can’t purposely lose) OR work a retail job until you retire but every single customer you deal with is annoying/inconvenient?
