Hi! I am new to crochet.

I am trying to start by just making a simple double knot granny square. I have tried twice now, but edges are curving in. I even try to pull one of the knots one row below to “finish” the square shape. I am using a 4 mm hook with DK yarn if that helps any.

I am really struggling with the square shape. Any tips?
